Heritage Hotel New York City

Location is just perfect - very close to several subway stations to get to every part of New York, grocery stores, nice green areas. Tons of cafes and restaurants around. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, solved all our requests - we didn’t like our room and they moved us to another one the next day and also assisted with a malfunctioning window. The rooms are quite small but have everything there: TV, fridge, coffee maker and supplies. There’s a large space on the ground floor with microwave and tables to warm up ready meals from nearby supermarkets which helps to save a lot of money on food during your stay. Free wifi also helps save on roaming expenses when travelling from outside the US. I couldn’t find a better value for money in New York considering the location, room size and facilities, we stayed for 6 nights first, then left to see friends in another state, and then came back for a sleepover before our flight back home because I couldn’t find an option that would offer better value for less or same price.

The location was perfect. As a solo female traveller having never been to NYC I was a little nervous about what the location was going to be like but turned out to be amazing! It was so close to all the sites and I felt very safe. Even though its located in the middle of a city the street is very quiet and in my room I couldn't hear any traffic or noise. The hotel is a little dated and not very fancy at all however it served its purpose as a place just to sleep and the bed was comfy and the room clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Our guys drove from California straight to new york to work at soho market in ny, once they arrived in New York which was 1 am they went straight to work but they got off of work at 9:00 am and we didn't have any rooms book yet due to we didn't know long it would take the guys to drive to ny. it took 2 days from calif to ny and they worked once they got there. they hadnt slept in 2 days i called the hotel spoke with Shawn and he was a tremendous help, we were able to get the guys rooms early so they can sleep. shawn was a pleasure to work with, very polite and very courteous. you have a very exceptional employee.

I read a lot of poor reviews on here and I am glad I ignored them. I really don't understand why. My room was super, clean, nice ensuite and not noisy at all. What do people expect? The building is old and the price of square footage in NY is at a premium. Wear a pair of ear plugs. This really is an excellent location, with a street just around the corner with good eateries and a beautiful book shop. Easy access to the rest of NY. Friendly, helpful staff. Free coffee and hot water.
